Which CCTV brand is best for a Goa home or business?
There is no single best brand for every property. CP PLUS, Hikvision, Dahua, PRAMA, Honeywell and Matrix all have relevant ranges. The correct choice depends on low-light performance, outdoor rating, lens, recorder compatibility, cybersecurity and firmware support, warranty, local availability and budget.
Do you install outdoor cameras near the coast?
Yes. We assess direct rain, salt exposure, prevailing wind, mounting surface and cable entry. Weather-rated cameras still need correct junction protection, sealing, stable mounting and periodic inspection. An IP rating does not compensate for a poorly protected connector.
Can a villa keep recording when the internet is down?
Yes, if the cameras and local DVR/NVR remain powered and correctly configured. Internet is normally needed for remote viewing and cloud-dependent features, not for local recording. We can discuss UPS backup and controlled recovery after power cuts.
How many days of CCTV footage should I keep?
Retention depends on the property, risk, camera count, resolution, frame rate and recording mode. Some Goa establishments may have specific regulatory or operational requirements, including 30-day planning in applicable contexts. We calculate storage for the agreed target instead of quoting only a hard-drive size.
Where should cameras be positioned in a Goa villa?

Do you offer AMC for hotels, offices and factories?
Yes. The scope can include scheduled camera cleaning and focus checks, recording/playback tests, HDD and recorder health, network and remote-access checks, fault response and a 12-point preventive-maintenance record.
Are WatchGrid installations BIS certified?
We do not describe an installation company as “BIS certified” merely because equipment follows a product requirement. We check applicable product documentation and reference relevant Indian CCTV standards in our method. Product compliance, installer competence and system design are distinct.
